Angela Rak

Angela Rak started dance at the age of 3, entering the Sharon Smith School of Dance in Delhi and Port Dover, Ontario. Mrs. Smith, who is now a Royal Academy of Dance Examiner, mentored and trained Angela in Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) examinations. Traveling across Ontario she was able to attend and teach in a variety of different studios. In Belleville, Ontario  she studied under Mrs. Francine Yasko.  Mrs. Yasko trained her in the Chechetti ballet syllabis and mentored her for her Canadian Dance Teacher Association (C.D.T.A.) exams in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap.

With over 17 years experience teaching, Miss Angie has taught at places like the Quintie Ballet School of Canada's recreational program, in Belleville, Ontario. She was also afforded the opportunity to work with the Kingston Dance Studio and Trenton Dance Studios. She has attended classes at the George Randolph School of Arts in Toronto, Ontario. There she studied and has had extensive training in  Jazz,  Hip Hop, Modern, Lyrical, and Musical Theatre and contemporary.

She has spent the last 11 years teaching with the Dance Arts Studio in Calgary, Alberta.  Miss Angie is a competitive teacher, who enjoys and loves the creative process of choreography and passing on her love for dance. She has had students who have been accepted to the Alberta Ballet's professional program and the Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede.
