In addition to saving dance parents time and money, the dress code:
1) Helps a young dancer understand they are going to a structured class (compared to unstructured playtime).
2) Ensures that the clothing is not a distraction during class.
3) Ensures that the dancer is appropriately dressed to be necessarily covered.
4) Ensures that each dancer has the same style, and color of shoes and tights for on stage performances

Parents are not able to watch their children during class time. This results in many distractions and will take away from your child’s learning while attending class. We do schedule “Parent Viewing Week” twice a year so that parents can observe their child’s growth and progress. As we get closer to the year end recital there may be opportunities for parents to come watch the final few minutes of the class, but please know that this is done at the instructor’s discretion.

If there are instances where children are feeling anxious, particularly at the beginning of the year, we may ask parents to walk their dancer in, but we will ask you to leave once your child is more comfortable.

To ensure your child gets the most out of their dance education, regular attendance is strongly encouraged. Consistent attendance helps dancers build skills, confidence, and stay up to date with class curriculum and choreography.

If your child is ill or injured and unable to attend class, please notify the office by telephone or email. If you are planning to be away, please advise both the teacher and the office of the specific dates as soon as possible.

Make-up classes may be offered when an equivalent class at the same level is available at an alternate time. Due to recital preparation requirements, make-up classes are only available during February and March. Once classes begin focusing on Winter and Year-End Recital choreography, make-up classes will no longer be offered.

Please note that tuition is not adjusted for missed classes, and all registered classes remain payable regardless of attendance.

Absences between March and June may affect a dancer's ability to participate in the Year-End Recital, as regular attendance is necessary to ensure dancers can safely and confidently perform their routines on stage.

Tuition is calculated based on 34 weeks of instruction throughout the dance season and is divided into 10 equal monthly payments for your convenience.

Preschool Classes (Explore Dance and Kinder Dance) are 30 minutes in length and are $46.35 per month.

All other classes are 45 minutes in length and are $64.35 per month.

Monthly tuition is based on enrollment in a class rather than the number of classes attended each month. Tuition remains the same regardless of holidays, studio closures, or absences.

We hope that your child will continue dancing all year as it is an excellent form of exercise that develops grace, balance, strength,co-ordination and posture. We also hope to provide your child with an enjoyable experience while teaching respect, discipline, confidence and teamwork.  Our year-end recital provides students with a goal to work towards. It is an opportunity for him or her to develop confidence, stage presence, and ultimately to share with their families and friends what they have learned all year. However, if your child is absolutely not enjoying their dance experience, they may withdraw with 30 days written notice to [email protected]
