Ms. Amy

Acrobatic Arts Level 2 Certificated

Acro

Ms. Amy started dancing at just 3 years old, inspired by the senior dancers she watched on stage. By 9, she was competing in ballet and exploring almost every dance style she could find.

At 12, she trained at the National Ballet School of Canada, followed by countless auditions, conventions and workshops. At 17, she moved to New York City to train full-time at the Joffrey Ballet School, performing in New York Fashion Week, Ivivva Athletica commercials and other professional productions.

Her professional performing career eventually took an unexpected turn, leading her to discover an even bigger passion for teaching and choreography.

Today, Ms. Amy leads Revolution Dance’s Competitive Acro Program, where she loves helping dancers achieve skills they once thought were impossible — and watching their confidence grow along the way. ✨

After eight years of growing the program, her favourite part is still seeing that “I DID IT!” moment. 💜

Mr. Kale
Hip Hop

“I saw my sister dance when I was 5 and thought, ‘That’s cool, I want to try it out.’”

What started as curiosity quickly became a passion. As Mr. Kale continued dancing, he discovered the joy of Hip Hop and the freedom that comes from expressing yourself through movement.

Dance became the perfect outlet to combine creativity, music, and individuality. It gave him a way to share ideas and emotions through movement — creating something that goes beyond words.

With a love for music and a passion for helping dancers discover their own style, Mr. Kale brings energy, creativity, and encouragement into every Hip Hop class.

Mr. Kale loves creating a space where dancers can build confidence, have fun, and feel comfortable being themselves while growing their skills.

We are so excited to have Mr. Kale sharing his passion for Hip Hop with the Revolution Dance Calgary community.

Ms. Laura

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance

Ballet / Jazz / Contemporary / Tap

"My passion for dance began the moment I discovered how much I loved being on stage.

It's hard to describe the feeling of being surrounded by music, lights, and energy where everything else simply fades away. But dance became so much more than performing.

Some of my favourite memories were created alongside my best friends, learning, growing, and creating together. Every class and every performance became something special because of the people I shared it with.

Before long, the studio wasn't just a place to dance. It became my second home. A place where I felt safe, supported, encouraged, and completely myself.

That's when I knew dance wasn't just something I did... it would always be part of who I am.

Today, Ms. Laura loves helping every dancer discover that same sense of confidence, belonging, and joy in the studio.
