Class sizes vary based on age and skill level. Each group is carefully sized to make sure your child gets the right attention and instruction.

The cost depends on the length of each class and how many classes your child is enrolled in. For detailed rates and options, just reach out—getting this info is simple and convenient.
During registration, the Jackrabbit system will ask for your credit card or bank account information. Tuition is automatically processed on the 1st of each month from September to June, making payments simple, easy, and convenient for busy families.
Accounts can be viewed anytime through the Parent Portal for up-to-date balances and payment history. Statements are only sent if an account is outstanding. A $30 late fee applies to any account not paid by the 15th of the month.
The dance season runs for 10 months, from September to June. Tuition is calculated based on Saturday classes, which have a minimum of 35 lessons per year. This accounts for holiday weekends, Christmas break, and Spring break.
The total tuition for the season is divided into 10 equal monthly payments for simplicity and convenience, so your rate stays the same each month.
There are no classes on Thanksgiving, Easter, Teachers’ Convention, Family Day, or Victoria Day.
The studio is closed for two weeks over Christmas and one week for Spring break (following the public school calendar). Competitive classes may run on a regular or modified schedule during Spring break and Easter weekend if needed.
For the first class only, if the required dance attire (listed in the Class Info section of the website) isn’t available yet, your dancer can wear any comfortable clothing they can move in, and bare feet.
After the first class, please follow the guidelines in the Class Info section so your dancer can participate fully and safely in each lesson.
Dance attire can be purchased at City Dancewear or Bodythings for your convenience.
If the date is not listed as a closure on the Studio Calendar (under my dance experience), classes will run as scheduled.
In the event of weather-related or emergency closures, notifications will be sent by email, posted on social media, and sent via text message to keep you updated.
To help your child get the most out of their dance experience, regular weekly attendance is important.
If your child is sick, please contact the office by phone or email so the teacher can be informed. If you know you’ll be away, let the teacher and/or the office know the specific dates and reason for the absence.
For competitive dancers, absences after February 1st will only be excused for health reasons. If too many classes are missed after this date, the dancer may be removed from the competitive program at no cost to the studio.
Yes, it’s important to share any medical conditions your child has during registration. This helps ensure their safety and well-being.
It’s also encouraged to communicate directly with your child’s teacher about any special details or procedures they should know. This makes the experience simple, easy, and convenient for you and keeps your child supported throughout their classes.
It’s recommended to have serious or repetitive injuries assessed and treated by a Health Care Practitioner to support your child’s recovery.
Keeping open communication with both the office and your child’s teacher is key. This way, simple and easy modifications can be made during class to help accommodate healing and keep your child comfortable.
Two special recitals happen each year—one in January and the traditional year-end recital in June.
Every dancer, from the youngest beginner to the most experienced, gets to shine on stage. The year-end recital is a wonderful chance for your child to perform in front of family and friends. It’s the highlight of the year and a beautiful culmination of many hours of hard work and practice.
