Matt started dancing when he was 13 years old after a 5 year career as a competitive gymnast with the University of Calgary Dinos. Initially he trained with the Young Canadians School of Performing Arts in Jazz, Ballet, Partnering, and Musical Theatre and was not introduced to hip hop until he was about 15.
